Karen Ivany | ACTING STUDIO
In Studio Scene Study
Every role, scene, genre and story is different.
There is not one way to act in any of them.
Drawing from the methodologies of UTA HAGEN,
SANFORD MEISNER, STELLA ADLER, MICHAEL CHEKHOV, STEPHAN PERDEKAMP and others, scene partners work together to create authentic interactions.
Explorations focus on committed States-Of-Being,
character development grounded in authentic Behaviour, interactions with Objects, nuanced Transitions, action and dialogue as extensions of Thought; accessed through
Core Emotions.
Original class resources include;
What Is A Beat?
Script Analysis/Scene Breakdown
Learning A Scene
Objective Observations
The Story of The Scene
