In Studio Scene Study

A great intro to on camera acting for New Students!

A rewarding work out for Returning & Advanced Students wishing to sharpen & expand their screen acting skills!

Every role, scene, genre and story is different.

There is not one way to act in any of them.

Drawing from the methodologies of SANFORD MEISNER, STELLA ADLER, LEE STRASBERG, UTA HAGEN, MICHAEL CHEKHOV, STEPHAN PERDEKAMP and others, scene partners create authentic interactions, access core emotions & follow physical impulse while working together in the space.

Scene explorations focus on committed State-Of-Being, Character Development through Authentic Behaviour & Interaction with Objects, Transitions,

Action & Dialogue as extensions of Thought & Accessing Core Emotions.

Original class resources include;

"What Is A Beat?"

"Script Analysis/Scene Breakdown"

"Memorization Tips For Actors"

"Objective Observations"

"The Story of The Scene"

 Students are encouraged to adapt to feedback, review & self-evaluate their individual footage at home to make adjustments in their performances each week.

Small class size ensures generous camera time.
